Return That Could Blow Theresa’s Plan Out of the Water
There’s a new power player on Days of Our Lives right now, and his name, as we all know, is Alex. His father’s will bequeathed him money and power enough to take over Titan, whether that was Victor’s intent or not!
But for the viewers who aren’t buying it, this is all just one big mistake. There’s no guarantee that Theresa tampered with Angelica’s letter to Victor laying it all out, but that flashback to Theresa finding the letters that the show took the time to recreate with Emily O’Brien’s version of the character sure seems to be a big tip off.
And as she continues to move in on Alex and offer her support as he deals with all these changes, it’s not hard to see why. Alex has money and power now. If Theresa hitches her wagon to him, she can share in that. She can be the Maggie to Alex’s Victor. Except, you know, Theresa would actively be craving it, while Maggie just fell in love with Victor.

Speaking of Maggie, though, spoilers indicate that she’ll receive a surprise visitor on Thursday, who we know from Soap Opera Digest‘s most recent issue is Konstantin. And that alone is raising some flags! There’s no word on what Victor’s Greek pal is doing in Salem, but him just popping across the world to offer his condolences seems like a bit of a stretch of a reason to bring him back onto the canvas.
In fact, this could be the moment Theresa Conspiracy-minded viewers have been waiting for! Because when Brady and Alex visited Konstantin, he didn’t know what was in the letters, but when he finds out, he may have some insight, and it doesn’t have to be a major bombshell. In fact, it could be something seemingly innocuous along the lines of, “Angelica? I didn’t think she and Victor were that serious. There was another woman, though…”
This is where things could get interesting if Konstantin describes either Xander’s mother or Justin’s mother. That wouldn’t necessarily mean much to Maggie, of course, as she (nor we!) ever met either of those women, but it could start things in motion that could unravel Alex as the heir. Because right now, everyone’s just taking the letter at face value. But if folks started questioning, they might finally decide it’s time for a little DNA test.
On the other hand, if Konstantin suddenly goes off on Angelica and Victor and their complicated relationship, we could be started down the road to learn that this was all just a red herring. In that case, Theresa’s just taking advantage of the situation, rather than creating it! Either way, she’s playing a dangerous game and we can’t see any way of this ending with her looking good!
