We’ve all heard of gender reveals but what’s more exciting is when the pregnancy itself is unexpectedly — and creatively — announced to the world. This is exactly what Days of Our Lives’ Billy Flynn and his wife, actress Gina Comparetto, did during a Halloween TikTok video. The couple reenacted a scene from the 2004 film The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou with Flynn dressed as Bill Murray’s Steve and Comparetto as Cate Blanchett’s Jane.
The video started with “Jane” walking toward “Steve,” who asked “Where’d you come from? You look pregnant,” to which “Jane” annoyingly replied, “I am pregnant.”
And though the couple nailed the scene by lip-syncing to the original characters’ dialogue, this was no Halloween trick, but rather a treat, as Comparetto’s baby bump was very much real. Fans got such a kick out their unique reveal and Flynn’s castmate, Greg Rikaart (Leo), sent them some love in the form of a heart emoji.

Comparetto also posted a bunch of pics with her hubby dressed in their costumes, as well as a few screenshots from the film. One photo in particular teased that someone else joined them for the fun — their firstborn, who they covered up with a coat. Back in October 2021, Flynn and Comparetto announced they were expecting but since then, they’ve kept their child out of the spotlight.
