Days of Our Lives spoilers for Wednesday, December 27: Close call?
First, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Ava and Stefan are going to have a rough one. They’ll try to keep Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) from cluing in to what they’re really up to at the Bistro. This is, obviously, especially difficult after a tip led him directly to them. We’re curious to learn more. We can’t see Clyde Weston (James Read) taking such a risk, as it would make his unwilling accomplices even more so. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel ) seemed content to keep what he knows to himself, and we’d imagine the others working with Clyde who might know about the shipment wouldn’t dare tell.
Whatever they end up having to do, we’re sure they’ll manage to satisfy Harris that all is well—for now. We can’t see this getting exposed so quickly. Even if they were dumb enough to open the containers and pull the product out right there in the open.

In other news, Tripp tries to alleviate Wendy Shin’s (Victoria Grace) mood since she’s still torn about leaving Salem. And we seriously hope he’s able to keep her in town, because we love this character. We don’t want to see her disappear from the canvas. Whatever does end up happening, we’ll have a bit more of Wendy yet. She and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) get closer over their upbringings. Should be interesting to see these two bond. Even if we’re sure Melinda’s about on her way out as well, what with her involvement in the baby theft.

Elsewhere, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will struggle this holiday season, thanks to Gabi DiMera’s (Camila Banus) situation. And it’s gotta be worse with her in the infirmary. Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), however, will do her best to put smile on Rafe’s face, despite the difficult circumstances.

Finally, there’s Tate. It seems he’ll get an apology from Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). We guess we owe Holly one of her own. We assumed she was going to somehow use Tate, but it looks like she might be legit. She definitely seemed to turn a corner after that chat with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and the time they spent with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
