There are so many times when ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers love what we get. It can be something super cute, serious, or just fun and in Tuesday, January 30’s episode we got some of the latter.
It’s always fun to see what Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) will bring to each scene, and in this episode they both nailed it.
Some things are just unexpected fun, and their banter really hit the spot.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Protecting her son
Everything seemed simple enough to start with as Ava wanted to talk to Wendy about something, and it had an ominous feel early on. Not like a dangerous feel, but we expected that maybe Ava was going to try to convince her to get Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) out of Salem for their own safety.
It wouldn’t have worked, but it would’ve been a fun argument between them.
Instead, they flipped the script on us as Ava was still the concerned parent, only this time she wanted to know if Wendy is serious about Tripp or if he was just there to comfort her for a short time.
What made this cool for ’Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers was that we’re used to concerned dads doing this, like Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) tearing into one of Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)’s suitors, so this was a fun chance of pace.
Wendy held her own too, and that made it more fun when she wasn’t intimidated by the former mafia princess and gave as good as she got, ending their back and forth with a mutual ceasefire when she asked about Harris Michaels (Steve Burton).
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers – Wendy for the win
We’ve loved Wendy since she first arrived in Salem and used her quick wit to put Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) in his place early on.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen that spunky side of her and we’ve been wondering if we’d get to see it again.

As usual, spunk can go one of two ways, either it works for the person or hinders them, and we think this earned her a lot of respect from Ava.
If nothing else, she showed that she’s not going to back down when it comes to Tripp and he’ll always have someone to watch after him if worst comes to worst.
This may also have gained Ava some bonus points in Wendy’s mind as she wanted to make sure Tripp was looked after and it gives her a glimpse into how a parent should treat their child.
They’re two peas in a pod and it’ll be fun to see how their relationship keeps growing.
Did Ava win herself an ally or is Wendy’s loyalty completely to Tripp? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
